Questions at the door
Is Bancjev a bank?
No. It is an interface with a bank's rooms. It takes no deposits, holds no funds, pays no interest and is not insured by anyone. Your wallet is the account; the chain keeps the balances.
What happens when I exchange?
The window asks the chain for a quote, builds one call to the token's own Pons V2 curve or, once the token has graduated, to its Uniswap V4 pool through the Universal Router, runs that exact call from your account without sending it, and then hands it to your wallet. You sign it. Nothing passes through Bancjev.
What does Bancjev charge?
Nothing. The curve or the pool charges its own fee and the network charges gas; both are shown before you sign.
Which tokens are listed?
Every token on Robinhood Chain whose symbol or name carries "jev" and that sits in a pool with at least $500 of reserve, found through a public pool feed. Nobody is listed by hand and listing is not an endorsement. Several different contracts share the symbol JEV, so the bank always keys on the contract.
Can every listed token be exchanged here?
Only launches from Pons V2 that trade against ETH, because those are the routes the bank could verify. For any other token the window says so and offers no trade.
What are direct debits?
Approvals. A contract you once approved can move that token until you close the approval. The vault lists the open ones for the contracts an exchange here uses and closes them with approve(spender, 0). It does not scan the whole chain.
What is the lounge?
A room where holders talk. The name on a message is the wallet's address. Sitting down is one signed sentence, not a transaction, and the server checks that signature on every message, so nobody speaks as an address they do not hold. The rank beside a name is read from the chain when the message is posted: the more an address holds in listed tokens, the heavier its name. Anyone may read; an address that holds no listed token cannot speak. Messages are short-lived and are not advice.
Where do my receipts live?
In this browser only, as a convenience. The chain is the record; every receipt links to its transaction on the explorer.
Which wallets work?
Browser wallets that announce themselves to the page (EIP-6963) or inject window.ethereum. Inserting the card connects and switches the wallet to Robinhood Chain, adding the network if the wallet does not know it.
